However, since I was younger and more physically fit than what I am today, I wasn’t aware of the repercussions I would face later in life. After all, I was only experiencing a slight ache in my back; it would heal in a week or two right?
Years later my pain was worse than ever before...
I started to notice a lot of discomfort from the top right side of my head down to the lower right side of my middle back.
I kept working out and playing competitive sports ignoring the pain as best as I could.
This is when I was first introduced to those little, evil, two-faced devils, prescription medications.
Taking two Vicodin and one OxyContin pill each day gave me a small amount of pain relief and the side-effects were somewhat tolerable at the time.
